3 Dollhouse Min Wedgewood Style Wall Plaques
Here are 3 plaques with a pale blue background similar to the Wedgewood color. Two of the plaques have cupids and one has an art decco style lady. They could just be placed on a bureau or side table as well as affixed to a wall. I think they are made of plastic. I do not know when they were made. The plaques measure 1/2" wide by 5/8" long.

207233 Set of brass fireplace tools with holder. The tools themselves and the center post on the holder are all made of a solid brass, while the base is hollow. The tools consist of the prongs, brush and shovel. The poke is missing. I do not know the exact age of these tools, but I would think they might date to the 1930s. It is 3 3/4" tall. The tools are about 2 3/4" each. This would probably be for a 1 1/4" scale. Individual pieces in early dollhouse were not always to scale, so it might even work in a 1" scale dollhouse.

207234 This is a nice heavy brass fireplace bumper that probably dates to the late 1800s. It is so well made, that it could almost be a salesmens sample. It is 4 3/4" wide by 1 1/4" deep (exclusive of protruding decorations) and 5/8" high. It weighs a lot for its size. This would go nice with other antique miniatures. I am also putting other antique fireplace items on eBay at this time and show them in a group picture, but only the brass bumper is for sale with this listing. This would fit in a 1" scale room or larger scale room if it was a small size fireplace such as were used in bedrooms.

208201 This is a lovely doll house miniature sofa done in the Federal or Empire style of the early 1800s. It was made by Mell Prescott probably in the 1960s. It is done in an olive green print with yellow trim with a wood frame. The back of the sofa is also covered in fabric. There are brass decorations on the arm rests and frame of the sofa. The upholstered furniture made by Mell Prescott seems to have a look that someone had just been sitting in the chairs with the seat cushions scrinched down a bit. Mell Prescott was a very well know miniaturist from Somers, Conn., in the 1960s or so. It is about a 1" scale and measures 6 3/4" wide, 3" tall in the back and 2 1/2" deep. One of the legs on the sofa has been mended, but other than that it is in good condition. I am presently listing many dollhouse miniatures in many different dollhouse scales, from the late 1800s through the middle of the 1900s.

208202 Tilt top early American style table painted black with hand painted fruit decoration on the top. The basic piece looks like it was manufactured and of average quality, but the painting is wonderful. The design of the top is a little concave, but with still hold items. It of course looks best when titled to show the paint. It was probably made in the 1970s. This is a 1" scale and measures 2 3/4" tall as a regular table, but with the top tilted, it is 3 1/2" tall. The diameter is 2 3/4".

208205 Pretty ceramic pitcher that has the off-white look like Lennox China. The handle and opening is painted gold and there is a beautiful hand painted floral spray arrangement painted on the front with blue, yellow and pink flowers. There is a gold color mark on the bottom that almost give the appearance of a hallmark, but I do not think it is anything. It is 3/4" tall and from spout to handle, also 3/4". Not certain of the age, but it is probably older than 1970. Perhaps the 1930s.

208206 This very tiny sugar and creamer measures only 5/16" in height and diameter. It is a silver color metal with a simple design and could be used with a 3/4" scale room or would look well as a small set in a 1" scale setting. I do not know the age, but I presume it is 1950 or earlier.

107015 Campy style chair and sofa, it looks like the type you would find in a summer cabin or cottage. It is all wood with a pine finish. It has some scratches in the finish that usually look worse in the picture that it really is. The chair is 2 3/8" wide, 2" deep and 2 1/8" high. Unmarked. Probably dates to around the 1930s.

107023 Painted wood or pressed wood design grandfather clock, probably for a 1/2" scale setting. The clock face and decoration is printed on in gold and the wood appears to be pine. The clock is 3 7/8" high, 1 1/8" wide and 5/8" deep. This style of miniature dates to the about 1930s.
Price: $8.00

108024 This dollhouse miniature side chair (or dining room chair) would fit a 1" to 1 1/4" scale dollhouse. I believe this would date from the turn of the century to 1920. It is a natural wood with little or no finish. It has a fancy back with a scroll and round bar across the top of the back of the chair and another piece across the back that is sort of an elongated diamond shape. It measures 1 7/8" from the floor to the seat, and 4 1/8" to the top of the back part of the chair. The seat is 2 1/4" wide in front and 1 5/8" deep. The way the chair was assembled (or reassembled) has one of the legs a little high and the chair does wobble a bit, but is not very noticeable. The glue is very dark and probably origiinal or was reassembled early on. I am also listing a table that has the same finish, style and size as this chair and is probably from the same set.

108025 This antique dollhouse table is probably for about a 1" to 1 1/4" scale, and dates from about the turn of the century to about 1920. It has splay legs and little or no finish. It is nearly square and measures 2 3/4" by 3" on the top and is 2 3/4" tall. The table has been repaired and reglued.

108027 This is an interesting set of dollhouse size table with 4 chairs. The decoration looks like a very thin layer of several woods forming the decoration. The table has an island and boat on a lake with a mountain in the background, it looks almost like Mt. Fuji. There are 3 woods making up the island and 3 different woods in the mountain. I do not know how well they will show up on the computer. Each chair seat shows the mountain with a tree in the foreground. The design on each chair is different from the rest. The table top has one small piece that has lifted off. There were a many dollhouse chairs made with this simple form dating from the late 1800s to 1930. With this inlaid wood decoration I would think it to be more like the 1920s. Also, I find this type of artwork interesting enough to call it folk art rather that just dollhouse furniture alone. It seems to meet both categories. The table top measures 3 5/8" by 2 13/16" and is 2" tall. The chair seats are 1 1/4" from the ground and 1 3/4" to the top of the back of the chair. The seat is 1 3/8" wide and 1 1/4" deep.

105100 The wardrobe closet or armoire is finished in a golden oak color with a nice finish. I believe the Golden Oak furniture was made around the late1800s. It is 3 3/8" long, 1 1/2" deep, and is 5 1/8" high. There is one hook inside and there probably had been another. Being early, it is unsigned and unmarked.

105079 This cute little chair and end table is part of a manufactured set that probably dates to the 1930s -50s. It is almost reminescent of the 1930s style furniture that was found in the summer cottages or cabins. The chair is 3 7/8" high and 3" wide by 2 3/4" deep. The table is 2 1/2" high and 2" deep by 2 3/8" long. Nicely made from plywood, there is some slight separation which could be easily reglued.

105080 This is a heavy metal coffee mill suitable for a country store or General Store. Could also be used in a country kitchen or other setting. Classic red with gold trim. The wheels turn and there is some cracking of the metal on the base and around the lid, where it joins the body and almost looks like the lid is removable. This could either be used in a 1" scale country store setting where they had the large commercial size grinders, or as a regular coffee grinder in a larger scale doll room setting. It measures 2" tall. There are breaks in the metal and paint (not broken as such but crazed like a composition doll cracks). It is still a very good looking piece.
Price: $8.00

102102 Good looking dollhouse plate (but is not ceramic). It has a blue and white sponge or spatter decoration. It is 1 1/4" diameter and would really be called a charger more than a plate. Very nice looking for leaning on a fireplace mantle with other country decorations. It is light weight and probably some type of molded plastic but has a very good look.
Price: $3.50

102093 This is a nicely made mallet for use with tools in a tool room or for use in a kitchen. It has good form and a red handle and the hammer part is silver color. This is a 1" scale and measures 1 1/8" in length.
Price: $4.50

102088 This one has the sharp point at one end to break through the top of a can for pouring out liquids and the other side is rounded for lid lifting from a jar. This is a 1" scale and measures only 1/2" in length.

102089 This is strictly for opening bottles and the other end for lifting the tops of jars as well as bottles. This one measures almost 5/8" in length.
Price: $6.00

102090 This one is the type that has a pointed end for making openings in cans for pouring out liquids and the other end is for lifting jar lids or prying up bottle caps and has the mechanism at the side. This is a 1" scale and measures just under 5/8" in length.
Price: $5.00
